The Scenic City hasn’t always been this beautiful — Chattanooga was named the worst city in the nation for air pollution in 1969 by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Since then, the city has made major steps in becoming cleaner, greener, and healthier for upcoming generations — and we want to keep it that way, but that requires a helping hand from the community.
Here are four organizations that you can actively participate with that are dedicated to keeping Chattanooga and the surrounding areas beautiful.
