Conservation Vision for the South Cumberlands

  Cumberland Voices, a long awaited document resulting from two years of work by the Land Trust for Tennessee and the University of the South has been released.  The 68 page document presents a comprehensive vision for conserving the natural and cultural resources of the South Cumberland region of Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia.

East Tennessee MapGuide Launched

  National Geographic's East Tennessee River Valley Geotourism MapGuide can now be viewed at www.TennesseeRiverValleyGeotourism.org.  For a report from the Southeast Watershed Forum on the launch of the site, including some TV news videos, go to www.southeastwaterforum.org.

  A number of natural areas in the South Cumberlands, including Foster Falls, the Tennessee River Gorge, the Tennessee River Blueway, Cloudland Canyon State Park, and Fall Creek Falls State Park, are featured.  The public will be able to continue to contribute to the guide.
